Third-party models such as Claude aren’t covered.
Credits work on Google Cloud services and Google’s own models, including Gemini and Gemma, but not on Anthropic or other third-party models. Unfunded startups get free Gemini API access in AI Studio instead of credits. You’ll need a working product, a company email that matches your website, and no more than $5,000 in earlier Google Cloud credits.
